Conditioning CEN Rubber Sliders

Before carrying out any testing, it is important to condition your rubber sliders. The conditioning procedure is designed to eliminate variation in results arising from small differences in the rubber slider. When conditioning CEN Rubber Sliders, one should use P400 Paper and Green Lapping Film.

Please Note:

Rubber Sliders have a 12 Month Shelf Life. Each Rubber Slider is supplied with a date stamp and a certificate stating the date of expiry. Once a Rubber Slider has expired, it should be replaced immediately. Rubber Sliders must also be replaced once there is more than 4mm of wear on each side of the rubber slider.
