Float Glass

Float Glass is used to verify that the Portable Skid Resistance Tester is functioning correctly.

When using Float Glass to verify the tester, a PTV of 5-10 should be obtained. If your results fall outside of this range, revisit the set-up procedures detailed in your manual (including replacing/re-preparing the slider). If you are still unable to obtain the expected results, your Portable Skid Resistance Tester may need to be repaired or re-calibrated. Please contact us for more details.
